Saudi Arabia’s Security Is a Trust Entrusted to Every Muslim

By Dr. Zouhair Ibrahim Al-Abbad

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is the land of the Two Holy Mosques, which have not been spared attacks by militias that have shown no respect for the sanctity of Mecca or the Prophet’s Mosque in Medina. And Allah is the Best Protector.

The security and safety of the land of the Two Holy Mosques are a trust entrusted to every Muslim.

The multiple acts of aggression that we witness by the Houthi militias against peaceful residential areas, civilian airports, infrastructure and energy facilities in the Kingdom, with the aim of destruction, sabotage, killing innocent civilians and attempting to harm the economy and sources of livelihood, are incompatible with the name “Ansar Allah” (Supporters of God), because Allah, Glorified and Exalted be He, has forbidden killing, destruction and terrorizing people.

The entire world knows what the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has accomplished and continues to accomplish in terms of major development projects in Yemen, as well as its charitable works, both declared and undeclared, which the Yemeni people can attest to. The Yemeni people have been afflicted by the presence of militias that practise terrorism against a Kingdom whose helping hand has always been extended to them and which has always sought to make Yemen stable and secure under a single legitimate authority, so that Yemen may return to what it was once called, “Happy Yemen,” a Yemen where agriculture and trade flourish, open to a world that calls for peace.

Allah has blessed the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with a ruling family that unified the Kingdom after it had once consisted of scattered tribes and also advanced the Kingdom at all levels: scientific, industrial and commercial. It is sufficient to note that the Kingdom constitutes strategic depth, not only for the countries of the Arab Gulf, but also for all Arab and Islamic countries, indeed, for the entire world.

The security of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is a trust entrusted to every Muslim. Here, we believe that all countries of the Arab and Islamic worlds should, at the very least, stand with Saudi Arabia. Among the measures is for the Awqaf ministries in these countries to dedicate Friday prayer sermons in mosques to condemning the terrorist operations carried out by the Houthi militias against the Kingdom, as the State of Kuwait has done.

The Kingdom of Generosity, under the leadership of King Salman bin Abdulaziz, may Allah protect him, bears witness before the peoples of the world to the charitable projects it carries out and the assistance it provides during the humanitarian crises and disasters they face. It is sufficient to mention its efforts to develop services and infrastructure in Mecca and the Prophet’s Mosque in Medina, and to serve the pilgrims of the Sacred House of Allah.

O Allah, protect Saudi Arabia, its King, its Crown Prince, its leadership and its people from all harm.
