An extensive study examined the rapid technological and institutional development that Egypt has witnessed in the areas of digital transformation and the governance of government work systems, confirming that building advanced digital infrastructure has led to a qualitative shift in administrative performance efficiency and improved the investment environment for both domestic and foreign sectors.
It explained that the focus on investing in human capital and training young professionals in the fields of artificial intelligence, software, and cybersecurity has positioned Egypt prominently on the map of the information technology industry and cross-border services at the continental and regional levels, paving the way for an economic transition toward a sustainable knowledge-based economy.

The study added that the expansion of government service automation and financial inclusion has contributed significantly to enhancing levels of transparency, reducing the environment conducive to administrative corruption, and supporting efforts to integrate broad segments of the informal sector into the formal economy. This has resulted in better identification of resources and increased tax and customs revenues without imposing additional burdens on citizens.
It pointed out that the launch of digital service platforms and the development of electronic payment systems have had effects extending beyond the economic sphere, also contributing to improving citizens’ daily quality of life by facilitating government transactions and access to essential services with the highest levels of efficiency and speed.
